We roll out of Phoenix, Arizona into Los Angeles this evening for the 49th night of the 50 States in 50 Days tour! It is a house concert, but there are spots for 30 folks if you get in touch with the host. Here is the Facebook invite for more details. Please RSVP there. We will webcast live as well, so tune in.
Tomorrow morning we fly to Hawaii for the 50th night! We will webcast live from our hotel when we arrive, and then we have a house concert at 7pm Hawaii time.
This has been a long tour. I changed the format a bit by not posting the interviews of people that aged out of foster care daily…………….as I reflected on it this morning……..maybe I should have posted them, but the editing involved to make that happen daily would have killed me. Let me tell you though……i’ve been lucky to find some amazing interviews. I’ll get them up when the tour is over.

The six degrees of separation thingie worked. We have a show tomorrow night for the 49th night of the 50 States in 50 Days tour. I met a woman in Boise called Jane Colton….she saw the request for a house concert…..contacted her daughter Amy, and away we go.

I still need a house concert for tomorrow night in California…..the 49th night. I’ve put out the six degrees of separation thingie into the universe so we will see what it gives back.
It has been a trying tour……lots of truck break downs, but the interviews of folks that aged out of foster care, or those that work with kids aging out have been inspiring. Last night I had the chance to talk to an incredible fellar that is a minister, and has foster 30 or so kids. He was great. THAT is why Vegas happened last night. I believe in that.

Do you know someone that would host a house concert for us? Some of the flash house concerts we do are the best on the tour…..so, like earlier in the tour when we found a travel trailer through the concept of six degrees of separation thingie…..I will put it out there on the interwebs and believe that we will come up with someplace cool….make some good friends, and possibly find a powerful interview of someone that aged out of foster care for the documentary we are shooting!?!?
