I stayed up most of the night syncing the audio with the video on “Red-Blooded American Boy”………I wanted it for today since it is Fourth of July in America. Happy Birthday America! You aren’t perfect, but nothing is.
We now have 11 days to go in the campaign to raise the funds to make Good Thing. I’m excited about this record. I want to breathe life into these songs. I need your help. So, as a special thanks for putting up with me over the past couple of weeks…….I’ve discounted the “perks” for the Fourth of July weekend. See if there is something that interests you……….I’m excited to have True and Another Long Story available as a “Perk” and also………being that it is July 4th weekend………maybe a few of you will be interested in a house concert type event like one of the “Backyard Concert” perks.
Ok, so here is the “Red-Blooded American Boy” video from Fear Nothing-my 1993 debut on A&M Records. Editing it deep into the night brought up so many emotions…………I was literally back there on the day we shot it. All the feelings of insecurity and being out of my depth crept in, but also the good feelings of being 23 and getting the opportunity to make Fear Nothing with so many of the world’s greatest musicians, and getting to work with the great Ed Cherney-rest in peace.
All roads led me to here………and I feel lucky. Click here to go to the Indiegogo Campaign for Good Thing.
